The Mitchell twins are headed to Arkansas. Eric Mussleman has once again turned to the transfer portal. The Razorback basketball head coach announced the signings of Makhi and Makhel Mitchell, transfers from Rhode Island. Arkansas also shared brief clips of their Rhode Island highlights.

Makhel Mitchell is a 6-10, 245-pound center. A starter for much of the 2021-22 season, Makhel averaged 10.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Makhi is a forward, listed at 6-9, 230 pounds. Like his brother, Makhi also has starting experience. He averaged 9.9 rebounds and 7.3 rebounds per game over the campaign.

The Mitchell twins each began their college careers at Maryland and recently completed redshirt sophomore seasons.

Musselman has had great success with players from the transfer portal. Hogs fans hope that continues in 2022-23.
