In 2019, Chibueze Nwanna transferred from Lackawanna Community College in Pennsylvania to Arkansas. He’s now looking at transferring again for another opportunity elsewhere.

Nwanna announced Wednesday that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal to explore his options as a grad transfer.

He shared a statement on his Twitter account:

“I am very grateful for my time here at Arkansas. I can honestly say that the people I have met and the experiences I’ve had over the last two years here have shaped me into a better man.

“To the coaches, past and present, the academic support staff, medical staff, and other affiliated staff members, I cannot say thank you enough for your support.

“To my teammates, you guys will always hold a place in my heart as brothers. Thank you for your support as well.

“With that being said, I have decided to explore my options for my grad year and enter my name into the transfer portal. Again, I am very thankful to the University of Arkansas and everyone who had an impact on my life.”

Nwanna opted out of the 2020 campaign ahead of the Razorbacks’ season-opener. His Arkansas online bio says the offensive lineman did not play during the 2019 season, either.
