Arkansas RB Rawleigh Williams comments for first time since being carted off from spring game
Arkansas’ spring game on Saturday had a scary moment when RB Rawleigh Williams III went down with an injury and had to be carted off the field. While the hit itself did not look bad, it’s always concerning when a player has to leave on the cart.

Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema had an encouraging update after the spring game saying Williams had full movement and the injury was a stinger. On Sunday, Williams commented for the first time since the injury, thanking fans for their prayers.
I really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers and ask that you continue to pray for my family and I. God Bless! #WooPig

The scene on the field was particularly worrisome as it was a neck injury that sidelined Williams during the 2015 season. He returned in 2016 to be the Hogs’ leading rusher (245 carries, 1,360 yards, 12 touchdowns).
