Arkansas will lose some depth at wide receiver with Wednesday’s announcement by Landon Rogers, a 3rd year player, that he would enter the transfer portal.

Rogers appeared in 1 game for Arkansas in 2021, and redshirted that season. He didn’t see any action last season.

“I would like to start off by thanking God and my family for their countless support and help guiding me to where I am today,” Rogers wrote in a message on social media. “Secondly, [I want to thank] the University of Arkansas for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love most.

“I will forever cherish my time at the University of Arkansas, and the memories with my teammates.”

Rogers, who moved around from quarterback to tight end and finally wide receiver, chose Arkansas over offers from Houston, Kansas and North Texas.

Rogers last week caught 2 passes for 31 yards in the Razorbacks’ spring scrimmage.
