Arkansas found an experienced quarterback for 2024, and a veteran lineman has confirmed he’s returning to block for the newcomer.

Ty’Kieast Crawford took to social media on Monday to share that he’ll be “running it back” for Sam Pittman’s team in 2024, the first season with Bobby Petrino as offensive coordinator. While it’s unlikely Crawford had much NFL Draft buzz, it’s a victory to keep him out of the transfer portal, as offensive linemen with SEC experience are highly sought-after.

The 2024 season will be Crawford’s 4th year at Arkansas. Originally from Carthage, Texas, Crawford began his career at Charlotte in 2020. Due to the circumstances of the pandemic, the NCAA does not count the 2020 season against players’ eligibility, allowing Crawford to be a super senior next year.

Crawford has played in 32 games for Pittman’s Hog squad over the past 3 seasons. In 2023, Crawford appeared in 9 games, making a career-high 4 starts. He is listed on the team roster as measuring 6-5 and 326 pounds.
