Arkansas rolled out the same starting offensive line during the first two weeks of the 2016 season, but a change might be coming to the unit.

Two close games left the coaching staff with little room to experiment, but a Week 3 matchup against Texas State should provide the Razorbacks with more flexibility. On Monday, Bielema spoke with the media and indicated that they may try some different things up front.

“We are not by any means settled into, ‘These are the five,’” Bielema said, according to wholehogsports.com. “We’ve got to continue to get better.”

Redshirt freshman Colton Jackson struggled during the first two weeks and could be replaced in Saturday’s game by another redshirt freshman, Jalen Merrick. Other offensive linemen who could be in the mix for playing time are Brian Wallace and Zach Rogers.

Through two games, Arkansas has run for 286 yards and averaged 3.45 yards per carry. The problem hasn’t been on the ground so much as it has come in pass protection. The Razorbacks offensive line has allowed quarterback Austin Allen to be sacked five times thus far. Penalties are another issue that Bielema addressed.

Arkansas returns home after its thrilling overtime victory at TCU and faces Texas State at 7:30 p.m. ET.
