Arkansas had a tough task when it took on No. 1 Alabama on Saturday. Although the Razorbacks lost, they scored the most points against the Crimson Tide of any team this season in a 65-31 loss.

Arkansas coach Chad Morris praised the offense when meeting with the media at his postgame press conference.

“Offensively, this was our best performance,” Morris said. “This offense continues to get better. It’s the best we’ve played against the best team we’ve played.”

Razorbacks quarterback Ty Storey passed for 230 yards and two touchdowns, and Morris liked what he saw from the junior.

“I thought we executed our game plan very well,” Morris said. “Ty Storey continues to show his grit, his fight, and he continues to get better.”

But Alabama scored 41 points in the first half and used three turnovers to help pull away from Arkansas.

“Alabama’s the best team in the country for a reason, and I think they showed it,” Morris said. “I think that they had speed all over the field.”

Arkansas fell to 1-5 with its third straight conference loss. The Razorbacks will look to bounce back and get their first SEC win next weekend when they host Ole Miss.
