Georgia defensive lineman Dante Walker is no longer committed to play for Chad Morris and Arkansas.

This comes on the heels of the Razorbacks losing defensive line coach John Scott Jr. to South Carolina this week. Scott was officially named as a member of Will Muschamp’s Gamecock staff on Tuesday. Walker previously committed to play for Arkansas back in October.

News of Walker’s decommitment from the Razorbacks was first reported by Chad Simmons of Rivals. Walker holds scholarship offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State and North Carolina, but following the early signing period, it is unclear which programs have room to take an additional prospect this late in the recruiting calendar.

National Signing Day is just two weeks away (Feb. 6).

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Georgia native is rated as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 33 weakside defensive end by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

With this news, Arkansas now has six commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle to go along with the 21 signees from the early signing period.
