Devo Davis and Arkansas scored a huge win over a surging Kentucky team Tuesday night in Lexington. Arkansas has now won 3 straight and 5 of their last 6, dropping only to Baylor in the Big 12/SEC challenge.

Davis dropped a cool 15 points with a team-high 7 assists in the win. He spoke postgame about Arkansas’ recent streak and assured fans this team is nowhere near it’s capabilities.

Arkansas and head coach Eric Musselman are fighting an uphill battle trying to secure a good spot in March, and as of right now they’re faring better than expected. The Razorbacks lost Trevon Brazile and Nick Smith early in the season due to injury, two major factors to Musselman’s system, and faltered immediately after.

January was especially rough for Arkansas. The Razorbacks lost 5 of their 8 games and looked to be dead in the water before righting the ship against Ole Miss in mid-January.

The next few weeks will be telling for Arkansas, however. Texas A&M, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama and Kentucky all line up the back end of their schedule.

For now, Musselman and the Razorbacks are enjoying the victory.
