Back in 2015, WR Jojo Robinson was dismissed from Arkansas due to class absences after a redshirt freshman season in which he caught six passes for 53 yards.

Last year, he played at Independence Community College in Kansas, where he got his football career back in order.

On Monday, he announced on his Twitter account that he’d join the Texas Tech Red Raiders for the 2017 college football season:

According to 247Sports, Robinson was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school in 2014, checking in as the No. 22 athlete in the class and the No. 36 overall prospect from the state of Florida.

After three receivers left the program this offseason, Texas Tech could certainly use the services of the once-promising prospect.
