Losing football games is tough for players who put in hours and hours of work in preparation for the games.

For Arkansas running back David Williams, the 48-22 loss to South Carolina on Saturday stung a little bit more than the others. Williams played football for the Gamecocks before moving on to the Razorbacks as a graduate transfer. Before transferring to Fayetteville, Williams racked up 794 rushing yards and five touchdowns at South Carolina.

Saturday’s game wasn’t ideal for him, he managed only 32 yards on seven carries and wasn’t much of a factor in the defeat. After the loss, Williams expressed his frustration to members of the media.
