Houston Nutt has been in the news a lot lately, only recently settling a lawsuit with Ole Miss — his former employer.

Now, he’s ready for a new job, and one of his former players is calling for him to return to another school he used to coach — Arkansas.

As the Razorbacks limp toward the finish line of this season, many are speculating about whether current coach Bret Bielema will return as the coach next season.

Should Bielema get fired, former Arkansas star Boo Williams said Nutt should get another opportunity to coach the Razorbacks:

Nutt serves as Arkansas’s head coach from 1998 to 2007, amassing a 75-48 record and winning a pair of bowl games before leaving for Ole Miss.

Not many coaches have had success like Nutt did in Fayetteville, so it will be interesting to see if the former coach gets a look from his old school should Bielema get fired.
