If there’s one thing Razorback fans could glean from Saturday’s game against top-ranked Alabama, it’s that good days are ahead for the football program under Chad Morris’ watch. The first-year Arkansas coach has not only salvaged what appeared to be a sinking ship just weeks ago and turned his team into a competitive group once conference play began, he’s continued to gather momentum on the recruiting trail for the future.

The latest break on the recruiting trail comes from Ellenwood, Ga., native Dante Walker. The four-star defensive end visited Fayetteville this weekend and most have been blown away by what he witnessed first-hand during his time on the Hill. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound prospect ranks as the No. 24 weakside defensive end in the nation and the No. 35 overall recruit in talent-rich Georgia. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 317 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following his commitment, the Razorbacks now hold pledges from six four-star prospects in the 2019 recruiting cycle, and 21 overall prospects. The class ranks as the nation’s No. 19 recruiting class and the ninth-highest in the SEC. Walker now becomes the second four-star prospect to commit to the Razorbacks this month, joining Tennessee native, Trey Knox.

Walker announced his commitment with the following message on Twitter:
