During his final press conference of the spring this week, Arkansas head coach Chad Morris alluded to the fact his program would likely suffer from some attrition this summer. The Razorback coach was right, as one player is reportedly set to leave the team just two days later.

After failing to see the field his first two seasons in Fayetteville and only making a handful of appearances last season, tight end Will Gragg has decided to leave the Arkansas football program. This news was broke by Danny West of Hawg Sports.

Gragg was an elite recruit in the 2015 recruiting cycle as he rated as the nation’s No. 7 tight end prospect and choose the Razorbacks over Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas, among others. He will leave Arkansas with only five catches and 61 receiving yards in his career.

The tight end is expected to take advantage of the NCAA’s graduate transfer rule and will eligible immediately. He has two years remaining to play in college football.
