Former Arkansas TE Hunter Henry suffers torn ACL during Chargers' OTAs
This was set to be a big year for former Arkansas TE Hunter Henry, as the torch was going to be passed from future Hall of Fame TE Antonio Gates to the ex-Hog.
However, the Los Angeles Chargers were dealt a huge blow on Tuesday night, when it was reported that Henry had suffered a torn ACL.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it was a non-contact injury, which is certainly concerning and not a good sign:
Stunner from LA: Chargers’ TE Hunter Henry suffered a season-ending torn ACL today, per league source. Did it during a drill, running downfield, untouched. Second opinion coming Wednesday.

In two professional seasons, Henry has 81 catches for 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns — not bad numbers while playing alongside Gates.
Gates is currently a free agent, but that might not be the case for much longer, as it looks like Los Angeles will be in the market for a tight end for this fall.
The Chargers have since confirmed the news:
Hunter Henry suffered a torn ACL during today’s practice.
