Coming off an official visit to Fayetteville, Alabama native Myles Mason has flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Arkansas. Must have been some visit to Northwest Arkansas for the Trussville native.

That’s obviously good news for the Razorbacks, who continue to gain momentum on the recruiting trail under Chad Morris. Arkansas landed two commitments over the weekend and now have a trio of pledges to show following a big recruiting event on campus.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Mason is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 35 safety prospect in the nation and the No. 14 overall recruit from the state of Alabama by 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 2018 prospect holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, and Florida State among others.

Mason announced his decision Monday afternoon:

Arkansas now has four commitments for the 2018 recruiting cycle in addition to the five signees and three early enrollees already on campus in Fayetteville.
