Sam Pittman insists he's not worried about saving job: 'I'm worried about the damn state of Arkansas'
Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks are heading in the wrong direction.
Pittman and the Razorbacks moved on from offensive coordinator Dan Enos Sunday following a dreadful 7-3 loss to Mississippi State, one of the worst teams in the conference. That, combined with a 2-6 record and 6 straight losses, doesn’t inspire much confidence moving forward.
On Monday, Pittman insisted that he really isn’t worried about his job in the midst of calls from fans to fire him. Instead, he says that he’s “worried about the damn state of Arkansas.”
He continued, saying “I’m the only one who can change it, and we’re gonna work like hell to get it done.”

Things aren’t going to get much easier, either. The Razorbacks travel to Florida following an open date this Saturday. It’s hard to imagine they’ll be favored in any remaining game this season apart from FIU on November 18.
