The Arkansas Razorbacks are a mess right now and are without several key players on offense due to injuries.

However, even that can’t explain what offensive coordinator Dan Enos was thinking on a play in the first quarter, which baffled everyone.

As you can see below, the Hogs split several players out wide, including a couple of offensive linemen. Then, a back comes in motion and gets a jet sweep, but Ole Miss’s defensive linemen were all over it, stopping the trickery for a two-yard loss:

The problem with the play was the Ole Miss defensive end was lined up outside the Arkansas’ offensive line. Therefore, when he came across the line of scrimmage, he was right in the running back’s path.

Though the play could have ended much worse, it was not the greatest design and will likely be ripped out of the playbook and burned moving forward.
