Over two months after entering the transfer portal, former Auburn running back Harold Joiner has found a new home.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder from Birmingham, Ala. is headed to the Big Ten as he will transfer to Michigan State for the 2021 season. Joiner announced the news on his Twitter account on Thursday evening.

Joiner signed with the Tigers out of the class of 2018, ranked the No. 5 running back in the country by 247Sports. He redshirted in 2018 before combining for 222 all-purpose yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2019.

Despite high expectations for a much bigger 2020, things never materialized, and he ended up deciding to transfer from Auburn. The Spartans will certainly hope that the versatile player that entered college with a great deal of promise can take them to new heights next season.
