On May 22, 3-star 2019 DE Jamond Gordon announced he was decommitting from Ole Miss and taking a look at some other schools.

On Saturday, he decided on his new school, pledging his services to Auburn and joining the Tigers’ 2019 recruiting class.

According to the 247Sports composite, Gordon is the No. 38 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2019 and the No. 18 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.

Gordon is the 10th player in Auburn’s 2019 class. Prior to his commitment, the class was ranked No. 9 in the SEC and No. 22 in the nation, per 247Sports.
