Auburn lands commitment from 2026 Fla. wide receiver
Auburn added to its 2026 recruiting class on Monday evening as it received a commitment from Denairius Gray, a wide receiver from South Florida. Gray, who announced his decision on X on Monday evening, is the 2nd pledge for Hugh Freeze and the Tigers out of the 2026 class, joining Georgia offensive lineman Kail Ellis.

Gray is a high school sophomore but already boasts a fairly stout offer sheet containing 25 programs. Among the key names are other SEC programs — Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Texas A&M — with other Power 5 representation including the likes of of Florida State, Michigan, and Penn State.
A member of the Chaminade-Madonna varsity program since 8th grade, he pulled in 25 catches for 372 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023. The Lions, a state power in Florida who have lost just twice in the last 3 years, played to a perfect 14-0 record in 2023 and defeated Clearwater Central Catholic for their 3rd straight state championship.
