Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson named a semifinalist for Doak Walker Award
Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson has been one of the hottest running backs in the nation in recent weeks, and he leads the SEC in touchdowns and yards.
For those efforts, the talented junior has been named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the best running back in the nation.
The Doak Walker Award committee named Johnson a semifinalist, along with some other big-name running backs:

With a game against Louisiana-Monroe this weekend, Johnson will have a chance to pad his stats heading into the Iron Bowl against Alabama on Nov. 24.
Even after missing a couple of games earlier this year while battling an injury, Johnson has had a season to remember for the Tigers and is very deserving of this honor.
