Auburn releases official depth chart ahead of Week 1 game vs. Akron
The Auburn Tigers will kick off the 2021 season against Akron on Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Akron went a disappointing 1-5 in a limited season last year, but Auburn will be eager to start the Bryan Harsin era with a big win, regardless of the opponent.
On Monday, the Tigers released their first official depth chart of the 2021 campaign. No surprise here, but Bo Nix is the starting quarterback.
Left guard and right guard are the 2 positions that haven’t been settled yet, with each having an “OR” designation between 2 players:
How many wins can this group produce? The linebacking corps is loaded, and the secondary looks strong. We’ll see how this team looks against Akron on Saturday.
Auburn just posted its official Week 1 depth chart on its website
– Shedrick Jackson listed as a starter at WR
– Couple of ORs on the OL but the first five is as expected
– Defense listed in a hybrid 3-4/4-3 look with no nickel (but that will be Donovan Kaufman) pic.twitter.com/DxyI4mp2VW— Justin Ferguson (@JFergusonAU) August 30, 2021
