Bryan Harsin coaching decisions, Auburn mistakes ramp up media reaction about his future
Bryan Harsin had another tough outcome on Saturday as the Tigers struggled to a 42-10 loss at Georgia. This time, media reaction centered on some of his coaching decisions, such as a first-half fake punt that didn’t convert.
Another difficult stat to digest for Auburn is that it’s turned the ball over in 15 of 19 games under Harsin.
It’s been this way for at least a couple weeks, but the timing remains the main stumbling point. Will it be next week? Or during the bye week? Or wait until the end of the season?
It’s long been the consensus media narrative that Harsin’s future is short at Auburn, but the timing is the only thing left to be decided.
Here’s a sampling of the media reaction:
Not sure what Auburn is going to do re: Harsin, but the Tigers have been non-competitive offensively today.
They go to Ole Miss next week and then have an open date.
Certainly seems like we’re creeping toward a conclusion.

Hey but there’s Bryan Harsin to give free field position with the unsuccessful fake punt.

Auburn’s fake punt didn’t work
