Bryan Harsin is 16 games into his Auburn career. To say it’s been a rocky start would be a massive understatement.

After starting 6-2 a year ago, Harsin and the Tigers closed their 2021 campaign with 5 consecutive losses, and the offseason included a University investigation into the football program.

They started 2-0 this year with wins over outmatched Mercer and San Jose State but were exposed Saturday in their first big test of the season.

No. 22 Penn State visited The Plains on Saturday and whipped the Tigers, 41-12.

Not surprisingly, social media was buzzing about Harsin and what his future, or lack thereof, looks like At Auburn.

After his team’s loss Saturday, Harsin was asked to comment on the state of his job security at Auburn.

“I can’t control that,” Harsin said. “I can coach for these players and these coaches… We put more expectations on ourselves than anybody else. I believe in this team and what we’re doing.”

Auburn will look to get back into the win column next Saturday when it opens SEC play at home against Missouri.
