Charles Barkley went airborne at the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, but not in the way that most would think.

A blimp with Barkley on it graced the skies. The blimp started its journey in Nashville and is currently traveling toward Phoenix for the Final Four before March Madness ends.

It even hovered over the airspace around Memphis and some of Barkley’s CBS Sports cohosts poked fun saying that’s why there were so many upsets. Footage was shown of Chuck by FedEx Forum.

Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson both joked if Barkley’s head on the blimp was to scale. Barkley loved everything about his blimp and said that it should be mass produced.

“And the head is actual size.” Johnson said.

It wasn’t smooth sailing for Barkley’s team, however. Auburn exited the NCAA Tournament in the opening weekend after losing to 13-seed Yale on Friday. Auburn led for most of the game but fell apart in the final minutes of the 2nd half as its time in March Madness was cut short.

The Final Four will take place on April 6 at the State Farm Center in Glendale, Arizona. The national championship will be played at the same location 2 days later on April 8.
