Eric Reed, Auburn CB, reportedly makes decision about future
Eric Reed, an Auburn cornerback, has made another decision about the transfer portal.
For the second time in 3 months, Reed has entered the transfer portal. The rising sophomore out of Shreveport, Louisiana Reed saw only very limited playing time with Auburn. Reed was a 4-star recruit with 13 offers coming out of high school.
Reed’s decision leaves Auburn especially inexperienced in the secondary.
The Tigers added 3 defensive back recruits in the class of 2022, but have seen transfer departures by Dreshun Miller, Ladarius Tennison and Ahmari Harvey, Roger McCreary declare for the NFL Draft, and Malcolm Askew exhaust his eligibility.
Auburn CB Eric Reed has re-entered the transfer portal, @247SportsPortal has learned. Reed, a four-star in the 2020 class, initially withdrew from the portal in January.https://t.co/Qdbv2euWuM
