Eric Reed Jr. has a new home. After 2 seasons at Auburn, Reed is heading to the ACC. Wednesday, Reed announced his commitment to Georgia Tech, via his Twitter account.
1st off I’d like to thank God for blessing me in mysterious ways. Also, I’d like to thank everyone at Auburn for making me apart of their family. After much prayer & talks with my family, I will be continuing my career as a student athlete at The Georgia Institute of Technology. pic.twitter.com/Ev7C9OPTaS

A 4-star safety out from Shreveport, Louisiana, Reed signed with Auburn as part of AU’s 2020 recruiting class. The Calvary Baptist Academy standout had 13 scholarship offers, including Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Ole Miss.
Reed’s Auburn bio shows limited participation over the past 2 seasons and no defensive statistics recorded.
