The Auburn Tigers will face a tough test on Saturday when they travel to Davis-Wade Stadium to take on a struggling Mississippi State team.

The Bulldog fans use cowbells during the game, but are supposed to stop ringing them when the center is over the ball.

On Wednesday, Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said the Tigers plan to get up to the line quickly so they can mitigate the sound of the bells (via 247Sports):

“Yeah, he’ll have his hand on that ball pretty quick,” Malzahn said. “Just need to make sure the cowbells stop when his hand is on the ball.”

That’s the strategy Florida used too, so we’ll see if it results in another win for the visitors this weekend.

The game between the Tigers and Bulldogs kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN2.
