Jaylin Williams will turn pro and enter the 2023 NBA Draft, according to a report.

College basketball insider Jon Rothstein was 1st to report that news on Thursday morning. Rothstein also noted that Williams intends to go through the pre-draft process while maintaining his collegiate eligibility.

Williams emerged as a crucial rotation player for the Tigers this season. He started 33 games for the Tigers and averaged a career-high 11.2 points per game.

He just finished his 4th season with Auburn, but he does have 1 year of eligibility remaining. However, it’s possible he will capitalize on his improved draft stock after a breakout senior year.

At 6-foot-8, Williams has great size and defensive instincts for a NBA wing. He also shot a career-best 35.4% from 3-point range this past season.

If Williams does decide to return to Auburn, he will have until May 31 to withdraw from the 2023 NBA Draft.
