The big question heading into Saturday’s SEC Championship Game is whether or not Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson will be able to play after suffering a shoulder injury last week.

Johnson will likely give it a go against Georgia, but whether he can be effective remains to be seen.

When asked whether Johnson’s injury or the injury to Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett would be more impactful on Saturday, ESPN host Paul Finebaum said on SportsCenter on Saturday morning that he believes Johnson’s shoulder is the injury to watch.

“I think it’s Kerryon Johnson,” he said. “Auburn becomes very one-dimensional without him. The fact that you’re not getting much information, I don’t think that’s a good sign.”

Auburn is still a great team, even without Johnson on the field, but there’s no doubt that having one of the best players on the country is a great boost for the Tigers.

Can they pull off another win over the Bulldogs? That remains to be seen, but it’ll be much tougher if Johnson isn’t able to carry his normal load.
