Azeez Ojulari is having a good start to his NFL career.

The New York Giants rookie had a stellar career at Georgia but had to wait until the 2nd round of the 2021 NFL Draft to come off the board. And despite a bit of a slow start to the season for the Giants, they are 3-6 after a 23-16 win against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.

Currently, Ojulari leads all rookies with 5.5 sacks as New York is past the midway part of the 2021 season with 8 games still to go.

The Giants kicked off their bye week on Monday, but in 2 weeks, Ojulari will face the stiffest test of his young career. New York travels to face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nov. 22 on “Monday Night Football”.

To put things in perspective, Ojulari was born on June 16, 2000, a few months after Brady was drafted in the 6th round by the New England Patriots. Twenty-one years later, the rookie will face off against the legendary quarterback for the first time.
