D.J. Uiagalelei has reportedly found a new home in the Pac-12. The former Clemson quarterback is heading to another team that wears orange.

Pete Thamel of ESPN reports that Uiagalelei is expected to commit to Oregon State.

Uiagalelei was with the Tigers for 3 seasons. From 2020-22, he completed 515-of-861 passes (59.8%) for 5,681 yards with 36 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 1,913 snaps over 36 games (28 starts). He also recorded 275 career carries for 913 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Uiagalelei was 22-6 as a starter, but Dabo Swinney’s squad was moving on to Clade Klubnik. A 13-game starter, Uiagalelei completed 229-of-370 passes for 2,521 and 22 touchdowns in 816 snaps.

As a recruit, Uiagalelei was rated 5-stars and the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2020 class. Matayo Uiagalelei, D.J.’s younger brother, recently chose Oregon State rival Oregon over Ohio State, USC and others.

Oregon State finished No. 14 in the final College Football Playoff rankings for 2022. The Beavers defeated Florida 30-3 in the Las Vegas Bowl to cap a 10-win season.
