Boone, North Carolina is the place to be tonight.

Hours after downing No. 6 Texas A&M in upset fashion, Appalachian State fans have turned the streets into a block party. If you didn’t know any better, it would be like an invading army was descending upon campus.

These guys have a lot to celebrate. The Mountaineers just barely couldn’t get it done last week at home against North Carolina, this time that wasn’t the case.

Fireworks are going off. They’re jumping in the river. Let them have their moment.

Appalachian State is known for being goliath killers, as Jimbo Fisher put it earlier this week. They knocked off No. 5 Michigan in 2007 in what is likely the most recognizable college football upset in NCAA history.

And it’s hard to think they’re done.
