The Broncos head into the postseason with a 12-1 overall record, a conference title and a chance to win it all (though against the odds) in the CFP, which will be played for the first time in its new 12-team format. One of the players giving the team its biggest chance to do something big here is running back Ashton Jeanty, who is considered a Heisman Trophy candidate after he’s put on a 2024 season to remember, hanging with the stat lines of some of the greatest rushers in recent college football history.
With conference championship game week continuing to roll into Saturday, the Broncos will be sitting pretty as they watch to see who their competition will be, expected to also have a first-round bye.
