The college football postseason has been ravaged by COVID-19 issues.

A couple of games have already been canceled, and now, another one has bit the dust, according to college football insider and FOX Sports’ Bruce Feldman. The Holiday Bowl between UCLA and NC State — scheduled for Tuesday night — won’t be played.

“SOURCES: Tonight’s Holiday Bowl between UCLA & NC State is getting canceled. The Bruins D-Line room has been decimated by Covid issues,” Feldman shared on Twitter. “The Bruins were down to two interior D-linemen yesterday for this game with a converted LB as the back-up nose guard, and were set to play but then had more COVID issues today.”

UCLA later confirmed Feldman’s report that Tuesday night’s game is being canceled.

Recently, the Fenway Bowl and the Military Bowl were canceled due to COVID-19 issues.

A total of 18 bowls were canceled during the 2020 postseason, and although it looks like that won’t be the case this year, several bowls won’t be played due to the virus.

We can only hope the 4 Playoff teams have no issues leading into Friday’s semifinals.
