In every college football game, there’s going to be a call that upsets each coach. Coaches venting at the officials is nothing new, but Matt Campbell took it to another level on Saturday.
In the second quarter of the Iowa State-Baylor game, a Cyclones stop was erased when the refs called a block below the waist.

Campbell was so upset by the call he used a timeout after the next play just to lay into the officials and let them have it.

Fans on social media were quite amused by Campbell’s decision.
Matt Campbell is justified in that fury. Hope the crowd carries this game from here on out.

Iowa State is getting absolutely jobbed by the officials today. I do not blame Matt Campbell one bit for being angry.

It wasn’t even Campbell’s first sideline outburst of the game to make social media. In the 1st quarter, the Iowa State head coach was visibly upset by a targeting call.
