Man, It's just a privilege that these Dawgs get to even walk onto the field with the best team in college football over the last 50 years... I would be shocked if the Dawgs aren't star struck and dazzled to the point of not being able to move against the number one team in the nation. We are so clearly over matched. Look what they did to Alabama at home... forced them into soon many penalties and poor defenseless UGA is so much more inferior and undisciplined than Alabama. And and and this is a really BIG game and we just don't know how to operate in big games..... I really hope our boys can hold up against those mythological Greek God's strolling into Athens
The only thing keeping the Dawgs from turning this into a bloodbath is Kirby's respect for Napier. We'll pull the starters in the 4th in this one in preparation of an opponent worthy of 4 quarters the following week. 34-17 Dawgs.... UF scores late in the 4th against backups to make it look "respectable".
These are clearly the opinions of someone that hasn't watched Georgia play. To think UF will be able to move the ball up and down the field is laughable. The UGA secondary is better than last year and nobody runs on our defense. AR will be forced to make reads and check down to his 2nd and 3rd options, a skill he has yet to demonstrate on a regular basis. In regard to living off one TE, did you miss the part of the article where it talks about us having the deepest TE room in the nation... have you not heard of Darnell Washington or Arik Gilbert, or Oscar Delp (Bowers needs no introduction)? I guess we will also ignore the receiving threat out of the backfield too. I can't blame your hopeful optimism but you could at least temper it with some reality. I think AR plays better this year and your run game deserves attention. This game will be well decided before the 4th quarter and Kirby's respect for Billy will keep this from getting too out of sorts. UF scores late in the 4th to make it look a bit more respectable 34-17 Dawgs.
Alabama has had just as many injuries to key players, worse QB's and play in a tougher division over the span of multiple championship years. The state of Georgia is rich with talent, we've blamed countless assistants as the root of our problem to the point we finally get a good D coordinator but still don't do squat. When is the last time we can say we got more out of a player than their talent dictates? Flip it, how many of our players never really reached their potential under Richt and became stars when they hit the league...numerous. It's because we don't get the most out of our talent.
Testing in a vacuum he is faster and stronger? Chubb had a better shuttle, vertical, and powerball then Fournette. Chubb benches more, and squats more. Fournette runs a faster 40. While your opinion may be that Fournette has a better year, and you raise valid points....painting inaccurate opinion as fact makes you appear biased rather than objective.
