As bad as the Aggies have been you seem to forget they were what 2 yards short of beating yall(bama) at yalls house. They have been really bad this year but their losses were basically one score.
Nil is definitely driving this class. I can affirm they are getting paid a lot of money. While I am an Aggie and I love, or loved college football, this is absolutely horrible for it. I sure hope fhey change the rules soon and limit the amounts. I understand this benefits us as we are the largest and more than likely richest association of former students. This kills the smaller schools who don't have these kinds of funds and definetly make it unfair. I know it had always happened under the table, but then it was around 500k or so to top players/families. Now it will be 10 million or so over their 3 years or however long. Some are making more than what some NFL players make.
I would easily give up this class to have rhe rules changed to make it more competitive.

That's what happened this summer and why he got an extension after the second game of the season. Lsu went after him over the summer. He took it to bjork, they worked out some numbers etc. Then had to get it cleared from board and then it was finally announced. That's why the extension happened when it did. An extension never happens mid seasons unless something drastic has happened. Always at the end of the year.
