You'd think Bama fans would have better things to do than worry about a team many pick to finish last in the SEC East. Guess not.
Only one? Must be an All-Pro or Defensive Rookie of the Year!
Danario Alexander was mostly injured until his senior season. Then he got one entire season healthy and just exploded. He showed he's an All-Pro caliber WR in the NFL as well... except he keeps getting injured. His knees just aren't made for his talent.
I know of an SEC school that churns out drafted DEs...
That is some excellent Tennessee math.
Depth at RB is not a concern, but the rest is accurate.
What are the five losses? It's a really easy schedule by SEC standards.
With perhaps the easiest schedule in the East, I was going to go ahead and predict another East title... barring injury. Now injuries have already happened, to the near certain MVP on defense - Harold Brantley. I was expecting Brantley to have a Sheldon Richardson-esque disruption up front. Only unlike 2012, he'd have perhaps the best back seven we've seen in Gary Pinkel's tenure (assuming safety gets figured out). Without him causing havoc and commanding double teams, the DL is dangerously thin and may only be average at best. I figured a loss @UGA and probably @Arkansas, but now they may drop a few more if the DL can't hold up.
Gabbert was generally a five star recruit. Even if you knock him down to a four star, Jeremy Maclin was the better 4 star recruit anyway.
Mizzou won't need to beat UGA. UGA plays @Auburn (as usual) and Bama. Mizzou has a very favorable SEC schedule. Besides UGA their away games are UK, Vandy, and Arkansas. Their home cross division game is Mississippi State.
