I love how everyone this time last week was ready to name Carolina SEC East champs, but now they're "not a very good football team." Maybe Kentucky is actually a good football team? Does Kentucky win games with style? No, actually their brand of football can be boring, but Stephen Johnson has proven that he's just winner. Keep sleeping on the Cats though.
Kentucky actually beat Florida 4 years straight back in the 50s when Bear Bryant was the head coach at UK, but I guess facts are optional
I tend to agree with you for the most part. I think Kentucky slightly exceeded expectations, especially after blowing a 35-10 lead against Southern Miss in the season opener. There were only two games where UK was completely outclassed (Florida and Alabama). I think the win over Louisville (although UofL was a little overrated) made the season for a lot of Kentucky fans, and I think it was a huge step forward for the program. Kentucky's recruiting class could finish as the best in school history. That being said, I truly believe the East is going to be extremely competitive this year. The East is still light years behind the West, but I believe the East will have 4-5 teams competing for the division title next year (Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and possibly Carolina). It's finally exciting to look forward to football season again in Lexington. Wish I could wish the Vols luck next year, but I just can't. Go Cats!
It has been the past two years actually
Stfu! " We don't always beat UT, but when we do we beat them with a WR at QB." You UT fans have prematurely ejaculated all over this season, and I hope you fall flat on your face. Make fun of UK all you want, but UT has been mediocre in every sport for the past 10 years. At least UK has something to hang their hat on.
Mississippi State blitzed Kentucky last year, huh? If it wasn't for a returned onside kick by MSU then it would've only been a one touchdown win for State. I guess facts are optional though
