Once Acy went out of the game, his freshman backup looked completely loss and I believe Mizzou didn’t look comfortable to go man to man on defense so they went Zone. The problem with a soft zone is when you have absolutely no pass rush and a qb on fire (Purdue qb played very well), they will pick a zone apart. Let’s hope with Acy back and a more aggressive pass rush, we don’t see this next week. I saw Beckner taking some plays off.
