Call me optimistic, but I really don't see Lane bolting after this season. After his laundry list of failed HC gigs he knows it'd be wise for him to keep absorbing as much organizational knowledge and experience he can from the best teacher in the business. Throw in the incipient hefty pay raise and the influx of all of the stud DT QB's, he's looking at the possible beginning of a new era of Alabama offense he engineered.

His statement has some truth although USC is absolutely loaded this coming season. Have a feeling it'll be decided by only a single digit margin albeit definitely hoping he proves me wrong. Always great to have alumni still engaged
