Good news for Dan Mullen’s Florida program just dropped as Penn State graduate transfer lineman Antonio Shelton has announced his commitment to the Gators.

Shelton announced the news on Wednesday by posting, “Different animal, same beast. #GoGators.”

The 6-foot-2, 327-pound lineman was listed as a redshirt senior this season for Penn State but is taking advantage of the NCAA’s decision to give all players a free season of eligibility in 2020 so he can finish out his playing career in Gainesville.

During his career with the Nittany Lions, Shelton racked up 51 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and six sacks after making 31 total appearances for Penn State.

Shelton started seven games this season for Penn State. He started 12 games during the 2019 season.
