Billy Napier and the Florida Gators travel to Columbia, Missouri to take on Eli Drinkwitz’ impressive Mizzou squad.

The Tigers have been very impressive from the jump this season, downing Kansas State and recently Tennessee. They are currently the No. 11 team in the latest AP Poll released on Sunday.

Moreover, their only 2 losses on the season came to Georgia and LSU, both teams currently ranked within the top 15. Georgia, well, they need no introduction.

On Monday Napier was asked about the job Drinkwitz has done at Mizzou. The Tigers finished last season 6-7 and Drinkwitz has never won more than 6 games in Columbia until this season. Now, he’s got a real chance at 10 or more wins in Year 4.

Here’s what Napier had to say ahead of Week 12:

This week means a lot to the Gators, who sit at 5-5 on the year. Florida will have to notch a win over the Tigers or Florida State to earn bowl eligibility. The Seminoles are currently the No. 4 team in the country.

That’s a tough ask, but Florida has shown it can dance with ranked teams before. The Gators played mostly well in Saturday’s loss to LSU and beat Tennessee earlier in the year in The Swamp.

We’ll see if they can pull off another upset this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
