Like Napier, Kevin O’Sullivan is looking to see his Florida squad bounce back in 2022 after a disappointing finish in 2021. Last season, UF baseball went 38-22 overall, finishing on a 3-game losing skid in postseason. As the host of the NCAA Gainesville Regional, Florida went 0-2 with losses to USF (5-3) and South Alabama (19-1).
Before the Gator baseball game, Napier was on hand at the nearby softball stadium. He let his daughter, Annie, throw out the first pitch at the softball game. UF softball is hosting Duke.
