The question remains — is Florida going to debut black uniforms at some point this season?

First, a video from the Florida equipment staff appeared to show black pants in a stack of game pants. Then, athletic director Scott Stricklin said the Gators wouldn’t be wearing black uniforms “this weekend” against LSU, which didn’t seem to rule out the possibility of them coming eventually.

Now, another tease from the Florida equipment staff has arrived.

Another short video was posted on Friday that featured somebody pulling a black jacket out of a stack of Gators uniforms, making it seem like that’s all that was there previously. But it also could be a troll job, trying to divert attention away from black uniforms that could be coming soon.

Based on the response from Florida fans on Twitter, it seems that a black uniform combination would be well-received.

Perhaps the Gators will debut a new uniform on Oct. 19, when they travel to take on South Carolina. Or it could come when they take on Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 2 after their bye week.

Either way, it seems like something is coming with these teasers slowly coming out from the Florida equipment staff.
