Florida adds MAC foe to nonconference schedule for 2022-23 men's hoops season
Florida is preparing to enter a new era, as coach Todd Golden has taken over for Mike White in Gainesville.
As the 2022-23 men’s basketball season draws ever closer, the Gators are working to finalize their nonconference schedule.
On Thursday morning, college hoops insider Jon Rothstein reported that Florida had scheduled a neutral-site game in Tampa against MAC foe Ohio for Dec. 14:

Ohio’s top scorer from last year, Mark Sears, transferred to Alabama this offseason. Meanwhile, the Gators got big man Colin Castleton and others back for one more year.
We’ll see if Florida can avoid an upset in this game away from Gainesville on Dec. 14.
