Florida basketball’s 2023-24 schedule features a Thanksgiving trip to New York City. The Gators have been tabbed to play in the 2023 NIT Season Tip-Off on Nov. 22 and 24.
Baylor, Pitt and Oregon State are the other teams set to play at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on those dates. Florida and Oregon State met last year in the Phil Knight Legacy event in Portland. The Gators won that game 81-68.
It will be UF’s 3rd visit to the Barclays Center, having previously defeated Providence in December 2019 and lost to Maryland in December 2021 as part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational.

The Gators are entering Year 2 under Todd Golden. In 2022-23, Florida went 16-15 in regular-season play before falling to Mississippi State in the SEC Tournament and UCF in the postseason NIT to finish 16-17 overall.
Florida is 1-2 all-time against Baylor, 3-4 vs. Pitt and 1-0 vs. Oregon State. Matchups and ESPN scheduling details will be revealed in the coming months.
