Coach Chip Kelly may have chosen UCLA over Florida, but the Gators have their man in former Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen.

On Wednesday night, they also picked up a nice consolation prize from the Bruins, too, as 3-star 2018 OL Chris Bleich flipped his commitment from UCLA to Florida.

Bleich, a Pennsylvania native, announced his decision on Twitter on Wednesday night:

According to the 247Sports composite, Bleich is the No. 34 offensive tackle in the 2018 recruiting class and the No. 15 overall recruit from the state of Pennsylvania.

With the 6-6, 305-pound lineman on board, the Gators’ 2018 class now has 16 members. Per 247Sports, it is the No. 12 class in the country and the No. 4 class in the SEC.

Now that Mullen is firmly in place in Gainesville, it will be interesting to see how many new recruits he can add to the Gators’ 2018 group in the coming weeks.
